Google is working on a laptop Eve with the preloaded Chrome OS. An important feature of Eve will be the presence of a fingerprint scanner and support for Google Assistant. The assistant will be started by pressing a dedicated physical button or key combination on the keyboard. Other important features will be an improved trackpad and the debut of Intel Kaby Lake.
Eve can obtain a convertible design, i.e. the possibility of tilting the screen far beyond the body. The resolution matrix will be 2400×1600 pixels (aspect ratio 3:2), is expected to support touch input and stylus. The keyboard is backlit for working in the dark.
Apparently, Eve will become the flagship of a chromebook, so its production together with Google to do Samsung is one of the most trusted partners in this segment. Date of the announcement is not reported.
